Turnaround, deposit & warranty.

Everything that happens after you book — how long it takes, how the deposit works, and how your install is backed.

Turnaround times
  • Starlight under 650★ — 1–2 days
  • Starlight 850★ and up — 3–5 days
  • Ambient lighting installs — 1–2 days

Deposit & booking policy
  • A non-refundable $150 deposit secures your appointment and is applied toward your total. Your appointment isn’t confirmed until the deposit is received.
  • Rescheduling: with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit transfers to the new date. Less than 48 hours’ notice may forfeit it.
  • Cancellations: all deposits are non-refundable; cancelling forfeits the deposit.
  • No-shows: missing your appointment without notice forfeits the deposit, and a new $150 deposit is required to rebook.
  • Late arrivals: please arrive on time — more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling and could forfeit the deposit.
  • Customer-supplied parts: we’re not responsible for defective, missing, or incompatible components you provide, and extra labor may apply.
  • Final payment: the remaining balance is due upon completion, before the vehicle is released.

By booking and submitting your deposit, you acknowledge you’ve read and agree to this booking policy.

1-year installation warranty

We stand behind our workmanship with a 1-year limited warranty on our installation, from the date of service. If an issue occurs due to our installation, we’ll inspect the vehicle and repair the affected install at no additional labor cost.

What’s covered

  • Loose or improperly secured components related to our installation.
  • Wiring issues directly caused by our installation.
  • Installation-related defects that occur under normal use.

What’s not covered

  • Product defects or manufacturer failures on customer-supplied parts.
  • Damage from accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, flooding, fire, theft, vandalism, or natural disasters.
  • Damage caused by another shop or individual modifying or repairing our work.
  • Normal wear and tear, fading, scratches, stains, or cosmetic damage after delivery.
  • Electrical issues unrelated to our installation, including battery or vehicle electrical-system problems not caused by our workmanship.

We warranty our installation only, not customer-supplied parts — labor to replace a defective customer-supplied part may be an additional charge. Please contact us before any outside repairs; we reserve the right to inspect and determine coverage. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer on the invoice. It is void if the installation is modified or tampered with by anyone other than Bay Area Auto Customz, if the vehicle is in an accident affecting the installed components, or if the issue isn’t reported to us within a reasonable time. Our maximum responsibility is limited to repairing or reinstalling our workmanship — no refunds or compensation for loss of vehicle use, rentals, towing, travel, lost wages, or indirect or consequential damages.
